Wrapping Up 2012 & Squashing Bugs

 In New Features & Fixes

Happy Holidays to all our fellow content nerds! As we wrap up 2012, I just wanted to provide an update on some of the latest features and bug fixes that we’ve completed. Our development staff has been hard at work on something big (hint hint), so I’ll be the first to admit that our frequency of new features and fixes has slowed a bit. But please, if you notice anything that we need to address, please let us know via our Support form or GetSatisfaction community portal.

The Latest

  • New Monthly Recurrence Setting – Instead of just being able to specify a day per month that a content item recurs, a user can now specify a day of the week and the week each month (ex: the second Thursday of each month).
  • Setting the Time for Recurring Items – Previously, the publish time of recurring content items would default to 12 a.m. Now, the time specified within the initial publish date (Key Dates section) will propogate to all recurring items.
  • Saving New Content Items – Some users were experiencing an issue when trying to save (first save) a new content item or a content item with recurrence settings applied. Despite the item being saved, the system would provide no confirmation of the successful save. This has been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue where modifying a specific detail (ex: changing the content owner) in a recurring series and “Change All Future Items” is selected, upon hitting Save, Divvy would hang and would not update the future instances of that series.
  • CSV Export – We adjusted the Summary/Description field so that only content is exported to the CSV file, not the HTML verison of the content.

Thanks for all your support in 2012 and we can’t wait to tell you about what’s coming in 2013!

Happy Holidays from the Divvy Team!
