We spoke to the Social Media Club of Kansas City on the topic of how to build an internal publishing department. For years, we’ve been told that brands need to change their “mindset” to thinking more like a publisher. This is a great first step, but unless we embrace the concept to the point of changing our internal structures (staff, processes) and objectives – really putting it into action – we won’t see the benefits.
