Dunkin’ Donuts, Chowda’ and 5 Ways to Organize Your Team for Content Marketing Success
It’s conference season and the DivvyHQ crew has been living out of our suitcases the past few months. We recently attended the Digital Pulse/Inbound Marketing Summit (IMS) in Boston, where our willpower always goes out the window and we embarrassingly stuff ourselves with as much Dunkin’ Donuts and seafood as humanly possible.
IMS is a gathering of some of the top digital marketing minds in the country, and this year DivvyHQ was a proud sponsor. At these conferences we meet with a lot of marketers who are trying to get their organizations to become better content producers. We frequently get asked what’s the “secret sauce” to how their team can become more efficient content powerhouses. Thanks to Butch Stearns, Chief Customer Officer of The Pulse Network TV, our very own Brody Dorland got a chance to answer these common questions and shed some light on how any company can produce great content more consistently.

1. Don’t just think like a publisher, it’s time to look like one
2. Don’t shotgun, you need to plan like a publisher
3. Silos are for wheat not content
4. It’s not a plan unless it’s on paper
5. Use tools that fit
Thanks again to The Pulse Network and Digital Clarity Group. We had a great time at the Digital Pulse/Inbound Marketing Summit and look forward to the next one!
Side note…if you go to Boston make sure to check out Neptune Oyster in The North End, it’s a long wait, but trust me it’s worth it. Thanks to Patrick Cahill of beep! for the suggestion.
